How to become a host for international students?

If you are interested in using your spare room to accommodate an international student whilst they study English at Severnvale Academy, earn a second income and meeting new people from all over the world, please complete the contact form below and Stephanie, our Accommodation and Welfare Manager, will be in touch with further information.

As a host family you will need to provide the following:

• Single/ Double bedroom
• A study area in the bedroom or suitable area of the house
• Shelves or chest of drawers for clothes and adequate hanging space
• Adequate heating and lighting
• Bed linen and towels changed weekly
• Adults: Half board on weekdays / Full board on weekends
• Juniors: Full board (packed lunch 6-days)
• Laundry of student clothes weekly

We are recruiting for a variety of roles, all offering the opportunity to join a small independent English Language School which has been operating for over 40 years. With a reputation for excellence and family values we are looking for the right people to join us. 

We are recruitng for the following temporary seasonal roles: 

• English Language Teacher (of Adults and/or Juniors 12-17 years) – must have a DEGREE and CELTA qualification or equivalent.
• Activities and Excursion Member
• Residential Team Member
• Driver – 16+ seater, clean D1 license necessary.

The candidate with the right qualifications and experience may be offered to combine these roles.
