JUNIOR ACADEMY – LOCATION
Shrewsbury School is set in magnificent grounds in the heart of the town, with a wide range of venues, leisure facilities and a fantastic hospitality and catering team.
We offer a range of accommodation across the site including single, twin and larger dormitory style bedrooms.
There is a wide-range of choice for activities at our Academy during your stay. Alongside games, social space and TV rooms in the Boarding House (Residential Accommodation only) there are a wide range of other leisure facilities which we are proud to offer.
SPORTS & LEISURE COMPLEX
We offer a wide range of activities that make full use of the School’s outstanding facilities, including a 25-metre deck level pool, tennis courts, three-court sports hall, and an array of excellent grass playing pitches for a number of sports.
MEALS & CATERING – RESIDENTIAL Accommodation
Meals for residential students are taken in the purpose-built catering hall, Kingsland Hall (‘KH’), where pupils and guests choose from a wide variety of foods from self-service counters. All of our food is cooked from scratch, using fresh ingredients and local suppliers wherever possible.
We happily cater for guests with special dietary needs such as dairy/lactose intolerance, gluten-free diets and halal food. There are also BBQ evenings at various points during the course and packed lunches are supplied for lunches which can be eaten on the outdoor sun terrace.
